“I’ve missed you”
For this photo book, I focused on a combination of my dad's archived images, as well as my own. I started out feeling homesick, and with a desire to create something that said ‘I miss you’ to Lebanon. As I continued, I came to realize, the project became a reminder of how beautifully my dad documented his life as well as my own. My dad’s photos and their essence of nostalgia are the reason I love photography, and so this project is my tribute to my dad’s photos and the country that houses those memories.
